It has been a while since I updated everyone on what is happening in my life. Yesterday, after driving for thirteen hours, I arrived in Barret, MN, homebase for Prairie Fire Children's Theatre. After settling in, I spent the remainder of my evening getting to know the other tour teams.

    Today, we began our training and rehearsals. There is a lot of information being thrown at us this week to prepare us to head out on the road with our partners starting Sunday. Our directors are wonderful, and I am ready to get out on the road.

    For those unaware, I will be touring "Jack and the Beanstalk" as the Storyteller and Lucia, the Giant's wife. My lovely partner in crime, Joseph, will be playing the Ringmaster and the Giant. Together, we cast up to seventy kids in our show. Every week we are some place new. Within that week, we teach them blocking, choreography, and lines. We also provide the sound, set, costumes, and makeup. I am excited to use my training from Missouri State University, not only will I get to wear my "actor hat," but all the other "hats" my professors taught us how to wear. Most of all, I am excited to share my love of the arts with children, especially with those who may not get to experience it any other way. If I can help inspire one kid this summer to follow their dreams, I will have achieved something great.

    It is going to be a fun, busy, adventure filled summer. I will be praying for patience and safe travels for myself, my partner, and the other tour teams. If you find yourself near one of our stops come check us out!

After months of planning, I've finally moved to the "Windy City."  I could not have made this move without the love and support of my family and friends. I'm very blessed to have you all in my life.  Here's to starting a new chapter in my life!

Since I was very young, "Fiddler" has been one of my favorite shows. It's always been a goal of mine to be in a staged production of it, and I could not of asked for a better company to do it with. This cast, artistic, and production team are amazing; and I am so grateful for the opportunity of sharing this journey with them. The story we share is one that is timeless. There is a reason that "Fiddler" is having its 50th anniversary. We bring the story of Tevye and his family as they face the question of how to keep their traditions and still be able to accept the world around them changing. We give life to a town faced with the discrimination of the time, and the pain and suffering it causes. The same struggles we face as a society today. So, come join the TRADITION of Tent Theatre! Opening night for Great Plains Theatre's "Nuncrackers" is here! After nine rehearsals, we've put together a great show that we can't wait to share with an audience. This company has been such a blessing to work with. My fellow cast members are so talented, and I'm learning a lot just getting to work with them. This show runs until December 22nd. It has been a busy couple of months.  I began filming "Millenium Force" last month.  It's always been a goal of mine to act in a superhero film, and now I'm playing a very sassy, telepathic superhero.  This script is really fun and the cast is great to work with.  I will be wrapping this project up on October 16th.  My next short film begins shooting October 19th, I'm a small role, playing as an ER receptionist in "At All Cost".  A couple of weeks ago I auditioned for Superstar Columbia in Columbia, MO, a singing competition.  I was informed earlier today that I am one of ten moving on to the final round taking place on November 4, 2013, at the Blue Note in Columbia, MO.  And last (for now), but certainly not least, I will be returning to Abilene, KS, to perform at Great Plain Theatre once more in their production of "Nuncrackers."  I will be playing the role of Sister Mary Hubert.  Rehearsals start November 25th and we open December 6th and run until December 22nd.  Overall, it has been a great few months since I returned home!

Well, Act II is officially blocked and off book. Seriously, this show is going to be hilarious! We had moments today where no one could stop laughing. Tomorrow we block Act III, and then Sunday starts full run throughs. I love this cast and crew, I can't wait to open this show for an audience. Get your tickets soon! Ask me for more details. Yesterday I made my way to Abilene, KS for my next gig at Great Plains Theatre Co. Today we had our first read through and I'm so excited about this cast! We open July 19th and close the 28th. You don't want to miss this classic!

On June 16th myself and fellow Tent Theatre company members performed at the local Operazzi cabaret! This was an afternoon spent with great talent, and fun numbers.
