It has been a hot minute since my last update! I finished up my 2017 season with Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres on January 1, 2018. After eight and a half months, eight productions, directing two kid’s camps, and directing one staged reading; it was time to end my year with some great people. My year was filled with growth and amazing opportunities!
As I wrapped up at RBT, it was a quick turn around to get up to Barrett, MN, for my training week for Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre. I came a couple days late into training due to contracts overlapping, and after spending four days at headquarters learning my show and refreshing myself on tour protocols, my lovely partner, Derek, and I were ready to start our first week of tour. We started off in Hasting, MN, last Monday and had a fun first week. We are about to finish out our second week of tour here in Lakeville, MN, and these kiddos are killing it!
I’ll be on the road as Aunt Polly in Tom Sawyer until the end of April. I have UPTAs coming up in a couple of weeks and we will see what the future holds after tour ends! Here’s to a new year that will surely bring new opportunities!
