UPDATES!

I have been terrible about updating here during my five months on the road with Prairie Fire. So, here's a quick rundown of events. From January to May I was touring as the Wicked Witch of the West in Prairie Fire Children's Theatre's "Wizard of Oz." This was my second tour with the company, and it was just as rewarding as my first time around. The kids never cease to amaze me with what they accomplish in a week, and how much I get to see them grow. With this tour, I had the lovely Elizabeth Powell by my side every step of the way. Your tour partner is your lifeline, and on more than one occasion she had to keep me afloat. As she decided to stay for another tour for the summer, I decided I needed a bit of a breather, and chose to return to Chicago.

I recieved news on Monday that I will be joining the team of Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres in Nappanee, IN, as their Children's Theatre Camp Director. I've wanted to be a part of this company for a few years now after witnessing the shows of many friends over the seasons, and I am excited to join their team for the summer camps in just a few short weeks.
