On April 18th I started off my 2017 season with Round Barn Theatre. We started rehearsals for our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) series of "A Year With Frog and Toad," we had approximately a week to put the show together before we opened for the surrounding area schools. After we wrapped up Frog and Toad, we spent a week putting together "Twain's Tale of Tom and Huck." We opened Tom and Huck this Wednesday and closed it out this morning with a very energetic group of kids. I love that Round Barn takes time to expose kids of all ages to theatre, it's something very important to me on a personal level.
Now that we have closed out our TYA series, and the rest of the core company members have arrived earlier this week, we have started rehearsals for "Plain and Fancy." As always, everything at the RBT moves quickly. We will be opening our run of "Plain and Fancy" on May 24th!
